Elegance is the only beauty that never fades.'
~Audrey Hepburn

Fashion doesn’t have to be just
something we put on.
It can be a statement of our style,
or the canvas
for which we express our sense of self.
We can express our moods,
feelings and our emotions
by what we choose to wear.
What we choose to put on can
 also affect our day.
The colors we wear
as well as the style and texture
can often change or affect our moods.

“Fashion is not something that exists in dresses only.
Fashion is in the sky,
in the street,
fashion has to do with ideas,
the way we live, what is happening.”
~Coco Chanel

What I Learned
I am usually a very causal dresser
however there is still a little girl inside
who likes to play dress up.
So I decided to create a series
of formal styles that I would like
to wear if I had a really fancy place to go.

I also like to dress for how I feel or sometimes for how I want to feel.

Colors can play a huge part in our moods.
We have all heard things like:
seeing red, feeling blue, green with envy

  or tickled pink).

Slip on a bright yellow shirt on a rainy day

and your spirits seem to lift right away.

Feel like changing your frame of mind for the better?

Play around with these colors when picking out your clothes.

Seeing red, when you want to evoke passion or grab a

person's attention.

Needing to chill out after a busy day slip into something blue

it has the opposite affect of red.

Red picks you and blue brings you down.

Need to relax and nurture yourself,

 put on some green.

Since it is the color of grass, leaves, and vegetation

it is associated with growth.

Researcher have found that green

 seems to soothe the body

and refresh our moods.

Remember the saying mellow-yellow?

I think the saying not only rhymes

 but it symbolizes how yellow

can lift our spirits.

If you are feeling a bit down in the dumps

wear a splash of yellow and a smile will

 spring up on your face.

And who can forget Orange.

Orange you glad you wore it?

For orange marries the affects of red

and yellow.

It adds more depth than yellow.

It is great for jumping into a creative mood

or working out at the gym.

Then we can add some of my favorite secondary colors

pretty in pink and playful in purple,

talkative in turquoise.

Last but definitely not least…

I have to add the color of black.

The slimming and Sophisticated color  of black.

There is nothing like the little black dress to

make us feel elegant.
