Aiden  The Girl On Fire

Music is born out the
 fire within the soul.

Sometimes it is a slow burn
 creating sweet melodies.
But other-times
it is a powerful flame of passion.

Aiden, an Irish name meaning "little fire",
represents the blazing fire of music which
ignites the emotions of all who hear.
When words fail, music prevails.

Music is the key that can open
 the tightest of close hearts.
It is a universal language
 that unites the world.

“Music gives a soul to the universe,
wings to the mind,
flight to the imagination
and life to everything.”
~Plato

What I Learned
This painting was inspired by
my love of music and my Irish Heritage.
One of my favorite things
about Irish music is
when it is mixed with Irish dancing.
I love to dance!
Here is an awesome violin duel,
Strings of fire, by Máiréad Nesbitt and Cora Smyth
from Lord of the Dance.

My family and I recently went to Ireland
to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary.
We had so much fun!
One of the most special nights
was when we went to Bunratty Castle.
We got listen to Original Irish music
and eat a traditional Irish meal.
Here is a video about the
popular tourist attraction.

"Those who danced were thought to be quite insane
by those who could not hear the music."
~Angela Monet
